'Allegheny' Class Production Model

Kohs H-8
UP
The turret box in front of the cab is fully detailed and functional, the hasp style locks are present as are the locking pins used to hold them shut in operation. When you look into the turret box you'll see the appropriate detail. On our models we try very hard to use point to point piping, which means that a pipe should run from where it should to where it should so there isn't a pipe end left hanging in mid air. This is some times difficult to avoid due to assembly considerations, but if you have a pipe that leads to the turret box and the turret box opens, you should see the pipe inside the turret box as well. The cab roof ventilator is open in this view, but the opening is covered by the fine mesh screen used to keep cinders out of the cab. The cab side sashes are correct for each version and the shades are cloth covered to provide the correct texture.
